Garden wax "Sodo tepalas"
Garden wax - protects cuts from bad weather conditions and pathogens.
Working temperature from + 4°C to -5°C!
Purpose: for treating wounds on fruit trees, shrubs and ornamental woody plants caused by pruning, grafting or other damage (rodents, etc.).
Seals and protects plant wounds from drying out, from sap secretion, from penetration of fungal spores and other pathogens.
This wax mixture contains ozokerite-aliphatic carbohydrates and mineral oil.
Application: apply a 1-1.5 mm thick layer of wax to the wound or cut.
Before use, cut off dead and peeling parts of the bark to healthy wood with a knife, disinfect the affected area with a solution of copper sulfate and, using a wooden spatula, cover it with a thin layer of garden varnish. When sealing deep wounds, it is permissible to add filler (chalk or dolomite in a 1:1 ratio) to the softened varnish.
Note: if the bark is damaged or wounds are caused by diseases or rodents, cut back to healthy wood (1-2 mm) before applying.
For best results, prune and seal in early spring or late fall.
